The Wild Oak Wedding Venue | Summer | Lindon, Utah
The Wild Oak Venue in Lindon, Utah was the perfect place for these two to say “I do”! This venue opened in 2019 and has a variety of spots that are not only beautiful but so versatile to fit the needs of any bride/groom.
The ceremony took place outside near this beautifully handcrafted arch that was decorated with fabric to match the wedding colors. The ceremony took place mid-day which gave off a more vibrant look to their images. Most of our brides and grooms choose close to 3 or 4pm to hold their ceremony. However, we have photographed ceremonies that took place 30 minutes before sunset which was absolutely stunning. To our brides who do choose to have their ceremony near sunset, we recommend revamping your wedding day timeline to take group pictures and your formals before the ceremony begins. This allows you to have enough light outside to get all those pictures you want!
After the ceremony we captured family pictures and formals of the two of them near the cement wall. Like I said, there are so many beautiful spots to take pictures around this venue!
This image above was one of my favorites captured! We love sweet candid moments like these!
The trellus at the Wild Oak Venue is absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot to place a few tables for your guests to sit down and enjoy the perfect Utah summer weather.
I know I have said it before in other posts but PLEASE consider food trucks at your summer wedding! Trust me, they make such a fun statement and they are DELICIOUS! Especially when it’s ice cream sandwiches from the Penguin Brothers! YUM! Click HERE to contact them.
3 generations all married on the same date! HOW COOL IS THAT!?!? She shared her wedding day with her mom and grandmother by having them cut their own cake as well and letting them each slow dance to their song. SO PRECIOUS!
We love all the creative send-offs we see at each wedding but sparklers will always have a special place in our hearts! Click HERE to view another wedding shot in the summertime that used sparklers!
